Outdoor Group Discussion

The circle continues
beyond us.

VHWF and the CHC don't run peer circle groups ourselves — but many organizations across the country do, and they welcome women Veterans of every era and branch. Below is a compiled, growing directory of peer circles and women Veteran communities,

organized by region, so you can find one that fits — in person or online.

What this is — and isn't. This is a referral list, not a VHWF- or CHC-run program. We've compiled it from public sources to be as complete as possible, but we have not independently vetted every organization listed. You're connecting directly with them, on their terms — take the same care you would with any new group: confirm details directly with the organization, and don't share personal or financial information you're not comfortable sharing. If a group isn't the right fit, or something feels off, try another — that's exactly what this list is for. Spotted outdated info or a concern? Let us know →

CABANA – Women Veterans Support Circle

This group offers women veterans a space to connect, share, and heal through authentic conversation and mutual support. We’ll explore the layered experiences of serving in the military as a woman—often marked by strength, sacrifice, and silence—and begin reclaiming our stories, identities, and wellness together. Whether it’s navigating reintegration, processing trauma, confronting isolation, or simply feeling unseen, this group centers your voice and lived reality. With care and community, we’ll reflect on what it means to feel strong, soft, and whole—all at once.

Find a circle

Your story could be the reason another
woman Veteran reaches out.

If you've walked this journey — whether you found your circle through this page or long before it — your story matters. If you'd be willing to share yours, publicly or privately, on your terms, we'd be honored to hear it. You decide what to

share, how it's used, and whether your name is attached. No pressure, ever.

How may we share your story? (check all you're comfortable with)
How should we attribute it?
Use my name
First name and last initial only
Keep me anonymous

Your information stays with VHWF — it is never sold or shared. If you're not ready to share, that's completely okay.
