— Why this, why now
The service was equal.
The support hasn't been.
More than two million women have worn the uniform, yet many were never even asked. They come home to systems built for someone else, and they carry wounds the country rarely sees.

— What it is · what it does
One platform. One promise: you are not invisible here.
Healing Her Journey is both a place and a program. Women Veterans register once, and from that first step, we connect them to the resources, community, and healing-centered experiences waiting for them. The events exist to do one thing: bring her to the platform and show her what it can do.
Register & be counted
She raises her hand, this time to be helped.
A simple registration puts every woman Veteran on the map, so no one is left uncounted or unreached again.
Connect to what's hers
Benefits, care & resources, made findable.
We route her to the health, benefits, and community services she earned, cutting through the maze that keeps so many from claiming them.
Belong to a community
Sisters who served, in one place.
Isolation is its own wound. The platform surrounds her with women who understand, because they lived it too.
Heal, on purpose
Wellness programming built for her.
From mental health to whole-person wellness, programming is designed around women Veterans' real needs, not adapted from someone else's.
The newest to come home.
Women are serving across every branch in today's operations, including Operation Epic Fury (2026). When they return, Healing Her Journey means a place is ready for them from day one.
— Who it serves
Every era. Every branch. Including the ones who never called themselves Veterans.
From the WWII-era trailblazer to the post-9/11 combat medic, Healing Her Journey serves women Veterans of every background: active-transitioning, long-retired, rural and urban, and the many who quietly assume the word "Veteran" was meant for someone else. It was always meant for her.
What the night does
-
Honors women Veterans publicly: visibility that changes how they're seen, and how they see themselves.
-
Registers hundreds onto the Healing Her Journey platform in a single evening.
-
Gathers sponsors, leaders, and the community around one shared commitment.
-
Launches the year's themed regional events: the flagship's reach, brought home.

Serenade for Strength
Honoring Her Service · March 31 · The Strathmore, North Bethesda, MD
Now in its second year, an evening of music, story, and recognition on one of the region's great stages, in a state where nearly one in six Veterans is a woman. It puts women Veterans at the center, registers them onto the platform at scale, and launches the year's themed regional events. It is the spark. The work it lights spreads all year long.

See it in action
Last year, this actually happened.
Before you decide, watch it. Highlights from the 1st Annual Serenade for Strength show exactly what your sponsorship builds: a room full of women Veterans, seen, celebrated, and connected.
— When & where · the model
From the stage to the street.
The Strathmore lights the spark once a year. But most women Veterans won't be in that room, so we take the experience to them. Across the year, three themed regional events carry the heart of the March night into communities, each focused on a specific barrier women Veterans face: a safe place to live, a stable income, and mental wellness.

The spark
The flagship
Serenade for Strength, March 31 at The Strathmore. The signature night that sets the tone, tells the story, and launches the year.

The spread
Themed regional events
Three events a year, each tackling one barrier: housing, economic stability, and mental health, brought to women Veterans where
they already are.

The point
Registered & aware
Every event exists to do one thing well: register women Veterans on the platform and open the door to everything it offers.
— When
One flagship. Three themed regional events.
An annual Serenade for Strength in March, plus three themed regional events across the year (housing, economic stability, and mental health): a steady, year-round rhythm of reaching and registering women Veterans.
— Where
The Strathmore, then community by community.
The flagship anchors in Maryland; the themed regional events travel into the communities where women Veterans live, so distance never
decides who gets reached.
Note: regional venues can shift to comparable spaces in each region, depending on the sponsor.
Housing & Safe Living
Home Base
Women Veterans face rising rates of housing instability and homelessness. This event connects her to safe-housing resources, benefits, and local partners, so she has somewhere steady to stand.
Economic Stability & Entrepreneurship
Forward March
From career transition to launching a business, this event links her to employers, funding, training, and mentorship, turning hard-earned service and skill into a stable income.
Mental Health & Wellness
Mind & Spirit
Many women Veterans carry unseen wounds, from PTSD to military sexual trauma. This event surrounds her with mental-health care, peer community, and whole-person
wellness built for her.
— The regional events
Three barriers. Three homecomings.
Between flagships, the initiative goes on the road with themed regional events, each built around a specific barrier women Veterans face. A sponsor can own the cause that matches their mission.

How the levels fit together
Each level funds a different part of the work, so no two sponsors pay for the same thing.
-
Serenade for Strength Presenting Sponsor (or Founding Partner) - underwrites the flagship night and the year-round platform, and presents the whole initiative. One presenting sponsor at a time.
-
Regional Champion & Themed Event Sponsors - fund the themed regional events: Home Base (housing), Forward March (economic stability), and Mind & Spirit (mental health).
-
Hospitality Sponsors - cover food and welcome at an event.
-
Community & in-kind partners - contribute goods, services, and time that complement the levels above
Ways to give
Choose the reach you want to fund.
Each level maps to a real piece of the mission, from titling the whole initiative to funding a single morning of coffee for the women in the room. Every gift moves a woman Veteran one step further down her journey.
Investment levels below are a starting framework. We'll gladly tailor a package to your goals.
— Community & in-kind partners
Every gift has a seat at this table.
You don't need a marketing budget to change a woman Veteran's day. Local businesses and neighbors power these events with goods, services, and time, and each one is recognized as part of the journey.
*Reach figures are illustrative planning estimates based on projected attendance and registration per event. Final numbers are confirmed with the Foundation and reported back to every sponsor after each event.
